The Issyk-Kul Regional Court changed the measure of restraint to the accused of a traffic accident involving Mrs. World Saniya Shakirova. The press service of the regional court reported.
It is specified that he will be under house arrest until August 3.
He is banned from traveling outside Bishkek without the permission of the investigator, court or body investigating the criminal case.
The court explained that the reason for taking such a decision was that according to the extract from the medical case history of the accused, issued by the Bishkek Scientific Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics, he had an operation on the collarbone and was recommended to be treated at the Cholpon-Ata Central Hospital.
«Taking into account his personality, marital status, state of health, the presence of a permanent residence place, the judicial board decided that the accused would behave properly during the preliminary investigation and the court, would appear in court on the first call of the investigator and the court, and will not interfere with the objective investigation of the criminal case,» the regional court explained.
Recall, on June 3, Mrs. World Saniya Shakirova was killed in the traffic accident. At the time of the accident, the 30-year-old driver was in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
