The Ministry of Transport and Roads became the leader in financial irregularities for 2017. The Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Ulukbek Maripov stated this at the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Budget and Finances.
According to him, in 2017, the Ministry of Transport allowed financial violations for 257 million soms. The Bishkek City Administration takes the second place in the list of violators with 246 million soms.
«The customs service is one of those bodies that we constantly check carefully. In 2017, there were found violations for 108 million soms,» the head of the Accounting Chamber said.
As a result of the past year, the Accounting Chamber found financial violations for more than 11 billion soms in state institutions, local authorities bodies and other economic entities of the republic.
