Kazakhstan tried to block bypass road in Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan tried to block the bypass road in Kyrgyzstan. The President Almazbek Atambayev stated, answering a question about the delimitation and demarcation of borders with neighboring states.

According to him, 85 percent of the borders with Uzbekistan have already been demarcated, 15 percent left.

"Of course, it is very difficult, long negotiations are ahead. And I think I will help to reach understanding that it is better when the border is completely fixed, "Almazbek Atambayev said.

"Almost all the issues with Kazakhstan were removed, except for one — 800 meters on the bypass road. We asked to warn us a day or two before the blocking. They tried to block it already. We just did not announce it. This question is ridiculous. It is a whim. Well, the head of Kazakhstan can not do without these 800 meters, although there are hectares of empty lands in Kazakhstan, "the head of state said.

"Half of the borders with the Tajiks is demarcated. We had a condition that the remaining half should be formalized according to the laws and principles that were used to approve the first half, "Almazbek Atambayev added.
