Kyrgyzstan purchases diplomatic property in Manhattan

Kyrgyzstan has acquired diplomatic real estate in Manhattan. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Erlan Abdylayev told to the Prime Minister Sapar Isakov during the visit to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Uzbekistan.

According to him, Kyrgyz diplomatic missions in some countries rent premises, but it is necessary to purchase real estate.

The land has already been bought for the construction of an embassy in China. Within a year and a half it will be built. Several apartments were bought in Moscow along with real estate in Yekaterinburg. Own embassies are being built in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

The Kyrgyz Foreign Affairs Minister noted that it is more profitable for Kyrgyzstan to buy land or real estate than to lease it. The most important thing is that the republic has money for this, Erlan Abdyldaev said.
