Kyrgyzstanis win 5 medals at wrestling tournament in Turkey

Kyrgyzstanis won five medals at an international junior wrestling tournament. Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

As it was noted, Istanbul (Turkey) hosted the Republican Cup. Eight athletes — four free-style wrestlers and 4 Greco-Roman wrestlers- competed as a part of national team. As a result, they won a gold, three silver and a bronze awards.

Akzhol Makhmudov took the highest place in his weight category in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition. Halmurat Ibragimov and Abdykerim uulu Kuttubek became the second. As for the free-style wrestling tournament, Taalay Oruzbaev took the second place, and Kunay Nurdavletov — the third place.
