Problems at border: situation remains difficult

The situation on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border has not changed. The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to the press service of the agency, today morning there was a congestion of people at Akzhol-Avtodorozhniy checkpoint. About 200 people were waiting for passage of border control.

About 230 trucks have accumulated at Ak-Tilek checkpoint, about 100 passenger cars and lorries — at Chon-Kapka, and there are no queues and congestions at other checkpoints.

Recall, since the evening of October 10, there is a large accumulation of trucks and long queues of pedestrians at all checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border due to tightened inspection on the part of Kazakhstan. Yesterday, Sapar Isakov, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited the checkpoints, but there is no improvement of the situation.

And today, because of too large congestion at the border, people started to break through Kordai checkpoint on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border at the slightest opportunity.
