Almazbek Atambayev meets with representatives of biggest American companies

During the working visit to New York, Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev met with the founders of the US-Kyrgyz Business Council and representatives of major American companies, Information Policy Department of the president reported.

According to it, representatives of Baker & McKenzie LLP, General Electric, AGCO Corporation, members of the US-Kyrgyz Business Council established in 2016, as well as Coca-Cola, Citi, Oppenheimer & Co, Inc, Visa Inc, Microsoft, White 64 , AES, John Deere and others took part in the meeting.

With the Vice President of General Electric, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company for CIS Ron Pollett, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed the company’s activities in Kyrgyzstan, including the field of energy infrastructure modernization.

Almazbek Atambayev answered questions concerning the conditions for large foreign investors in the country.

The American business community noted that a favorable business climate is formed in the Kyrgyz Republic and the confidence of foreign investors in Kyrgyzstan is significantly strengthened, business activity is increasing.
