Big investor interested in Kambarata HPP -1

Big investor is interested in Kambarata HPP-1, Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Duishenbek Zilaliev reported.

According to him, «tectonic shifts» began in the issue of construction of Kambarata-1 after the visit of the Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan. «Large companies are interested in the construction of the station. Uzbekistan is ready to act as a co-investor,» Duishenbek Zilaliev said.

He said that there is one company ready to join the project. However, he refused to give its name and country. Currently, the National Energy Holding is working on the issue.

Recall, during the visit to Bishkek Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that Uzbekistan is ready to build Kambarata HPP-1 jointly with Kyrgyzstan.
