Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan: program of events in Bishkek

Bishkek mayor’s office prepared a festive program for the Independence Day, its press service reported.

According to it, the celebration will begin at 10.00 on Ala-Too Square. At 11.00 there will be a concert with the participation of creative teams, on the Old Square — the festival of martial arts.

At 19.00 there will be an evening gala concert with the participation of domestic pop stars. The event will finish at 23.00 with fireworks.

The metropolitan municipality plans to hold festive events in parks, squares, micro-districts and residential areas of the capital.

Oktyabrsky district:

On August 31, festive concerts and a festival will be organized in the Ataturk and Victory parks named after Dair Asanov, contests and quizzes, competitions in national sports, at the stadium of the National Opera named after Arabaev — in mini-football, volleyball and running, in microdistricts and on the site of school № 17, a drawing contest on the asphalt «My Kyrgyzstan», mini-football, arkan-tartysh and darts competitions are planned.

Leninsky district:

From 10.00 am, «Flamingo» and Fuchik parks invite to the festive events for children, specially organized for them, sports games there also will be held.

From 12.00 on the Alley of Youth will be a festive concert, an exhibition of applied art, demonstration sports performances on aikido, sambo, judo, kүrosh, kudo.

Sverdlovsk district:

At 10.00 in the Karagacheva grove, microdistricts and residential areas are held holiday concerts and sports competitions.

From 13.00 on Victory Square everyone can visit an exhibition of exclusive cars.

Pervomaisky district:

In addition to concert programs, in microdistricts at 10.00 on the sites of the school № 78 and school № 81 will be organized exhibitions of products, tasting of national dishes and various sports games.
