Almazbek Atambayev was reported about the preparations for the new academic year. Today, he received the Minister of Education and Science of the country Gulmira Kudaiberdieva. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, the head of state was informed about the preparation of general education organizations for the new 2017-2018 school year. In particular, Gulmira Kudaiberdieva reported on the implementation of the president’s instructions on construction of new schools instead of emergency ones.
According to her information, 122 schools were included in the Construction Plan for the 2017-2018 academic year on the basis of the analysis of the state of schools in the country in need of major repair or new construction.
Construction of new schools has begun at all the priority facilities, including those affected by emergencies.

The Minister dwelt on the measures to develop the system of preschool and school education and reported that by September 1, 2017, 100 new kindergartens will be opened in the country. The schools will begin approbation of new teaching and methodical complexes on 27 subjects.
President Almazbek Atambayev drew particular attention to the need for timely completion of the construction of schools in the country, and in areas affected by natural disasters — before the onset of cold weather to create there all the conditions for education of the children.
