Law enforcement officers detained a Bishkek resident suspected of distributing pornographic materials online.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they received information that activities related to the distribution of prohibited online content were taking place in a building in the capital.
Following a preliminary investigation, a criminal case has been opened under the article «Distribution of Pornographic Materials» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the search, technical devices and other items of interest to the investigation were seized.
Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and are also investigating the possible involvement of other individuals in the illegal activity.
Investigative activities are ongoing.
