Parliament indignant that fuel from Uzbekistan imported to Kyrgyzstan by cars

The parliament deputies are outraged that fuel from Uzbekistan is imported to Kyrgyzstan by motor vehicles, the deputy Kubanychbek Nurmatov stated at the session of the Parliament.

According to him, it is necessary to work out the issue, so that the goods from the fuel and lubricants are to be transported exclusively by the railway.

«Unified tariffs with Uzbekistan are not effective, as they are envisaged only for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union," the head of the Ministry of Transport and Roads Jamshitbek Kalilov said.

He said that although there are no unified tariffs with Uzbekistan, they negotiate with the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan.
