Czech Republic interested in energy projects in Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev today met with Czech President Milos Zeman during his working visit to Astana (Kazakhstan).

The heads of state spoke in favor of intensification of bilateral contacts at all levels, discussed issues of attracting Czech investments to Kyrgyzstan and prospects for joint implementation of specific projects.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Milos Zeman expressed interest of the Czech side in implementing energy projects in Kyrgyzstan.

During the conversation, Almazbek Atambayev thanked the people of the Czech Republic for their assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the 1930s, noting its significant contribution to the development and development of domestic industry.

The head of Kyrgyzstan also talked about the reforms in Kyrgyzstan in key areas and measures to increase the transparency of processes in all areas.

After the meeting, Almazbek Atambayev returned to Bishkek.
