Parking on Shopokov Street in Bishkek becomes paid.

Chargeable municipal parking lots have been canceled some years ago. A private entrepreneur rented a section of Shopokov Street (from Moskovskaya Street to Zhibek Jolu Avenue) and is implementing a project to introduce automated parking there.

The cost of the service is 40 soms per hour. Parking is free on Sundays and non-working holidays. On working days, parking is available on a prepayment basis. The first 15 minutes are free of charge.
