Residents of Osh region can not get compensation for seized houses

Residents of the Osh region for more than a year and a half can not receive compensation for the houses withdrawn for the needs of the state. The deputy Ainuru Altybaeva said this at the session of the Parliament today.

According to her, 34 houses have been withdrawn for the state needs within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union and the modernization of checkpoints. They located in the area of ​​Dostuk border crossing between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

«People voluntarily agreed to give their homes for the sake of the interests of the state. But since November 2015, they can not receive compensation. But they need to develop new areas, build their own homes. The contracts were signed, they were renegotiated on April 4, 2017, but there is still no money. This is not even the state’s money, but the funds allocated by the partners in the EEU in the framework of the country’s joining the union. There is red taping, bureaucracy; there were even attempts to reduce the amount of compensation. This should not be done. Give the people the money," concluded Ainuru Altybaeva.
