The second stage of the tender for the purchase of multifunctional wheelchairs for children with cerebral palsy is being held, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development reported.
Today, firms — participants of the tender presented wheelchair samples for technical testing.
Parents of children with cerebral palsy could test the samples themselves and choose the most convenient for use. In order to ensure transparency and openness of all procurement procedures, selection is conducted with the participation of members of the public council, the civil sector, an authorized employee for the prevention of corruption.
Multifunctional wheelchairs will be purchased for 3 million soms, which was allocated by the President Almazbek Atambayev. They will be given to children free of charge.
