The Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression will appeal to donors and international organizations. The decision was made today at a meeting of its representatives.
According to the members of the committee, they want international organizations, donors and ambassadors to pay attention to multi-million claims of the Prosecutor General’s Office on the protection of the honor and dignity of President Almazbek Atambayev to Zanoza.kg and the head of the Legal Clinic Adilet, Cholpon Dzhakupova, and how the reform of the judicial system, on which their grants were spent, was carried out.
Representatives of the organization plan to write a letter to Azattyk’s management to clarify their position. It is known that Almazbek Atambayev has decided to forgive this mass media and not to hold litigation with it.
