Today, the Muftiate of Kyrgyzstan has determined the amount of Sadaqah Al-Fitr donations. Press service of the agency reported.
«Sadaqah Al-Fitr is a kind of alms that the Muslims must give to the poor at the end of Ramadan month. After the end of the month of Ramadan, the collected funds will go to charity," the Muftiate’s press service explained.
In 2017, the minimum amount of donations from one person is equal to the price of 1.6 kilograms of grain — 30 soms.

Everyone should choose donations taking into account abilities. However, the Muftiate calls to choose the most expensive Sadaqah Al-Fitr, so that as many people as possible to get help.
The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on May 27.
