Number of poisoned and hospitalized schoolgirls in Batken increases

The number of poisoned and hospitalized schoolgirls in Batken region has increased. Press center of the Ministry of Health informed 24.kg news agency.

Recall, on May 18 in the village of Buzhum, Batken region, a seventh grader at the break lit a smoke pot in the classroom, which he allegedly found on the street. After that, the children complained of shortness of breath and coughing.

Seven girls have been immediately hospitalized. However, later on, during the household examination, two more victims were sent to the hospital. Currently, eight of them are in the children’s unit, and one — in the intensive care unit. Her condition is assessed as moderate. Their discharge is out of question. Doctors watch their condition.
