The Central Election Commission explained when the election campaign should begin. Candidates and political parties can conduct an agitation campaign only after the official announcement of the election date.
The CEC proposes to accept the text of the appeal to political organizations and candidates in order they not to violate elective legislation and not to agitate until the Parliament has not announced the date of the election.
It should be noted that the registration of candidates should begin four months before the election campaign. Although some politicians (in particular, Omurbek Babanov, Temir Sariyev and Bakyt Torobayev) have already stated that they would run for president’s post, and began indirectly to agitate, and this is a violation.
