President signs law on stay of Kyrgyzstanis in Kazakhstan without registration

Almazbek Atambayev signed the law on ratification of the protocol on introducing changes and amendments to the agreement with Kazakhstan on the order of citizens' stay in the territory of the countries. Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration reported.

The law was passed by the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic on March 16, 2017.

The protocol provides for the release of citizens of Kyrgyzstan temporarily staying in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the obligation to register (register at the place of stay) at the competent state bodies within 30 days.

The law comes into force seven days after the day of its official publication.
