Yuri Krakovetskiy wins silver at Judo Grand Prix in Turkey

Kyrgyzstani Yuri Krakovetskiy won silver at the International Judo Grand Prix in Turkey. Ippon.org reported.

According to it, the competitions ended on April 9 in Antalya. Two out of 11 representatives of our country, Bektur Rysmambetov and Yuri Krakovetskiy, took prizes. The latter competed in the weight category of over 100 kilograms. He won three battles out of four: he won Tamerlan Bashaev (Russia), Semikh Adiyaman (Turkey) and Ushangi Kokauri (Azerbaijan). In the final, Krakovetskiy lost to Lukas Krpalek (Czech Republic).

The Kyrgyz Republic took the 11^th place among 34 countries in team scoring.
