Reconstruction of Bishkek-Kara-Balta road to begin on April 15

The reconstruction of Bishkek-Kara-Balta road will begin on April 15. Press service of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan said.

According to it, yesterday, on April 4, the ministry issued an order to start the work by the contracting company China Railway No. 5 on the construction of the site from the 15^th to 61^st kilometer.

It was reported that it is expected to issue an order for the work of the DEP-9 of the State Directorate of the Bishkek-Osh road, in particular, the transfer of this road to the contractor company China Railway No. 5 on April 15.

The road is being built as part of CAREC Transport Corridor Improvement Project 3 (Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation), which will link Russia with the countries of South Asia and the Middle East through Central Asia.

The donor of the project is the Asian Development Bank.
