Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan appoints new chairman

A new head of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan was appointed. Information Support Department of the government’s office reported.

The day before, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan signed a decree that appointed Oktyabr Abdykaimov the head of the State Tax Service. Previously, he served as deputy chairman of the service.

Oktyabr Abdykaimov was born on November 7, 1971 in Bishkek. In 1995, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State National University with a degree in «Finances and Credit.»

He began his career as an inspector of the VAT Department at the State Tax Inspectorate of Bishkek. He held various positions in the Tax Service.

Since November 17, 2011, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The former head of STS Zamirbek Osmonov moved to a new job. He was appointed the head of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes.
