The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has adopted a resolution to optimize the work of the country’s development institutions. The document provides for the renaming of one of the state funds and the abolition of several previously existing decisions.
According to the resolution, the Public Social Partnership Fund for Regional Development will be renamed to the Project and Initiative Implementation Fund. The new structure will become its full legal successor, retaining all of its rights and obligations.
Furthermore, the document revokes the resolution establishing the Coordinating Council of Development Institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, adopted in 2022. Certain provisions of several subsequent Cabinet resolutions related to the activities of the Regional Development Fund and the National Holding Company Heritage of the Great Nomads are also repealed.
Simultaneously, the National Investment Fund is recommended to align its internal documents with the new resolution and take the necessary measures for its implementation.
As noted in the document, the changes are aimed at optimizing the activities of development institutions and increasing their efficiency.
The resolution will come into force in ten days.
