President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov is participating in the regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC), which is taking place in Astana, the presidential press service reported.
According to the statement, an official welcoming ceremony for the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was held at the Palace of Independence prior to the start of the meeting.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev greeted Sadyr Japarov. The event is also attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
