As part of the Open Cabinet: Territory of Responsibility project, Finance Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Suinaliev visited Asyltash Plus LLC plant in Chui region—one of the largest ceramic tile and porcelain tile producers in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the total cost of the project exceeded $40 million. The plant was built with the support of State Financial Holding OJSC, which acted as a guarantor to the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund for $25 million.
The plant is equipped with modern equipment from the Italian company SITI B&T Group and is designed to produce up to 3 million square meters of tiles per year.
250 new jobs have been created at the plant. Production operates 24/7 in two shifts.
According to the company, more than 50 percent of its output is planned for export to the EAEU countries. Kyrgyz raw materials—kaolin and clay from Chui region—are used in production.
The Ministry of Finance noted that the plant will reduce dependence on imported ceramic products and increase Kyrgyzstan’s export potential.
The plant’s grand opening took place in 2025, attended by President Sadyr Japarov.
