Kurman Ait will be celebrated in Kyrgyzstan on May 27, 2026. The Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) reported.
The date of one of the most important Muslim holidays is determined according to the lunar calendar and changes every year. Kurman Ait marks the completion of the Hajj pilgrimage and is traditionally observed with rituals including animal sacrifice and charitable acts.
The holiday is expected to be declared an official non-working day in Kyrgyzstan.
