Kyrgyzstan’s public administration system has begun the transition to digitalization of personnel documents. From now on, orders on hiring, dismissal, leave and other personnel issues will be drawn up exclusively in digital format. The press service of the Ministry of Digital Development reported.
Previously, personnel documents were duplicated on paper, which required significant time and financial resources.
It is worth noting that since 2022, document flow between government agencies has been conducted in both digital and paper formats. However, in September 2024, paper formats were eliminated for approximately 700 types of documents.
«Personnel documentation, such as orders on appointments, dismissals, business trips, rotations, leave, and others, was still being duplicated on paper, taking a lot of time and resources,» the statement says.
According to the ministry, digitalization of personnel documents alone, such as leave orders for 300,000 public sector employees, saves over 1 million sheets of A4 paper annually.
In the near future, all state and municipal agencies across the country will switch to digital personnel documentation, which will facilitate the work of employees and reduce the burden on the budget.
