Two men were kidnapped in Moscow with the purpose of extorting a large sum of money. Izvestia newspaper reports, citing a source.
Two citizens of Kyrgyzstan were in a cafe near Kuzminki metro station waiting for an acquaintance. Two unknown men approached them and asked for help in pushing a car. The Kyrgyzstanis agreed and went outside.
There they saw a group of men, who pushed them into a car, took away their documents and mobile phones, and later brought them to a place in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki. The unknown men began to demand 190,000 rubles, beat the men and threatened to kill them, the source said.
When they were alone with one of the kidnappers, who fell asleep, the men wrote a note asking for help and threw it out of the window.
Police arrived at the apartment. Three citizens were detained. The investigation continues.
