The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan announced publication of a new ranking of the best universities in Asia (QS Asia UNIVERSITY Rankings 2025).
According to the ministry, the ranking includes six higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic:
- Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (230th place);
- Osh State University (260th place);
- American University of Central Asia (260th place);
- Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after Boris Yeltsin (333rd place);
- Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn (381st place);
- Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razzakov (381st place).
«This result is a record for our country and the result of the work done over the past 2-3 years in the field of higher professional education with the support of the country’s leadership,» Deputy Minister of Education Rasul Abazbek uulu said.
