The central part of Bishkek will be closed to traffic for two days, the press service of the Department of the Patrol Police Service of the capital reported.
Sections of the following streets will be closed today, October 31 and tomorrow, November 1:
- Chui Avenue from Abdrakhmanov Street to Togolok Moldo Street;
- Sections of Tynystanov, Orozbekov, Razzakov, Panfilov, Logvinenko Streets and Erkindik Boulevard will be closed from Kievskaya Street to Frunze Street.
A ceremonial parade will be held on the central square on November 1 in honor of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kyrgyz police. A festive concert will be held on the central Ala-Too Square in the evening on the same day.
«The parade will be broadcast online on NTRK TV channel and covered in all media. Employees of the internal affairs agencies, who became winners and laureates of the music competition Yr-Kese, will be named during the evening concert program. The concert will start at 6 p.m.,» the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asks citizens and guests of the capital to take these measures with understanding and choose convenient routes in advance.
