A land plot of 381.74 hectares in Nookat district, where Uluu-Too mercury deposit is located, was returned to state ownership. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The cost of the land is 1,246,560 billion soms.
The check showed that in 1998 the plot was illegally transferred to the private company R.U.T. CJSC by decision of local authorities. The land is again on the state balance sheet.
