The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan will be given the right to purchase special textbooks from a single source for schools where children with disabilities are educated. The corresponding bill was adopted by the Parliament in the third reading.
Now, according to the law, textbooks for schools are published only by Uchkun printing house, but since it does not publish special textbooks, they have to be purchased in Russia. And for this it is necessary to amend the Law «On Public Procurement» and eliminate the monopoly right to publish special textbooks by Uchkun printing house.
