Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov signed a resolution on transfer of days off in 2024. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
For the rational use of weekends and non-working holidays, it was decided to announce the following days as days off for employees of state and municipal organizations, institutions and enterprises financed from the state budget, working according to a five-day workweek schedule:
1) From January 1 to January 7 of the following year and transfer:
- Day off on January 8 to working day on January 2;
- Day off on January 27 to working day on January 3;
- Day off on March 2 to working day on January 4;
- Day off on September 2 to working day on January 5;
2) From March 21 to March 24, 2024 and transfer the day off on April 8 to the working day on March 22;
3) May 2 and May 3 of the following year and transfer:
- Day off on May 6 to the working day on May 2;
- Day off on May 11 to the working day on May 3;
4) Announce Orozo Ait — April 10, Kurman Ait — June 17, 2024 as public holidays.
Heads of legal entities with private ownership, working according to a five-day workweek schedule, are recommended to transfer their days off in accordance with paragraph 1 of the resolution. The document comes into force on the date of its official publication.
