An agricultural census will be conducted in Kyrgyzstan. The draft law on preparation for the census was submitted for public discussion by the National Statistical Committee.
It is noted that the relevance of the campaign is associated with significant changes that have occurred in agriculture over the past 20 years, including the activation of the private sector and an increase in the number of peasant farms.
It is necessary to obtain the most complete and reliable information on the state of agriculture, which will become the basis for long-term management decisions in the agrarian sphere.
The census will be conducted by means of a survey in electronic format — using a mobile application.
