Families of 37 border guards who were killed during the armed conflicts in the border zone of Batken received compensation. Director of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Ularbek Sharsheyev, announced at a meeting of the Security Council.
According to him, 37 out of 42 families have been paid compensation.
«There are five families left, they are preparing documents. As for the wounded, except for 10 who suffered minor injuries, all of them received compensation,» Ularbek Sharsheyev said.
He added that the families of the killed servicemen received houses.
