The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan will not build new schools in the next three years. Its head Akylbek Japarov announced at a meeting of the Parliament.
According to him, the executive branch intends to first complete the construction that has already begun.
«There are 546 unfinished objects. In the next three years, we will complete their construction and put the dilapidated schools in order, we will not start building new schools during this period. However, we expect a population explosion within 10 years, so every year we have to build 24 schools,» the official said.
