After the detention of police officers in Suzak district of Jalal-Abad region, a working group created at the presidential administration revealed violations of the requirements of the law and inadequate supervision of the investigation and search activities by individual heads of the prosecutor’s office. Press service of the head of state reported.
The working group was created on behalf of Sadyr Japarov. It studied the performance of the assigned duties by the law enforcement and supervisory authorities in the region.
For the committed violations, lack of control and improper supervision of the investigation, a proposal was made to dismiss:
- First Deputy Prosecutor General Abai Moldokmatov;
- Prosecutor of Jalal-Abad region Almaz Kiyazov;
- Deputy Prosecutor of the region Zira Toychubaev;
- Prosecutor of Suzak district Bakytbek Sydygaliev;
- Deputy District Prosecutor Tynchtyk Kenzhebaev.
«The top leadership of the country is constantly monitoring the activities of state authorities at the local level and in case of violations and failure to fulfill the assigned duties, the most stringent measures will be applied to the perpetrators,» the administration noted.
Recall, employees of the district police department were detained by the State Committee for National Security in Suzak district for concealing a crime. The head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the district and two of his subordinates are among them. It was established that they took a bribe from the suspects in the robbery for not bringing them to justice.
