A car repair shop was opened in the prison settlement 32 in Novopavlovka village, Sokuluk district of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the State Penitentiary Service reported.
The project was implemented with the support of the Programme Office of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Chairman of the State Penitentiary Service Askat Egemberdiev expressed hope that creation of the production site would increase the efficiency of the execution of sentences by strengthening the educational impact and correction of convicts, as well as preventing relapses.
