State Penitentiary Service looking for investors to open production in colonies

The State Penitentiary Service of Kyrgyzstan is looking for investors to open production facilities in prison colonies. The First Deputy Chairman of the State Penitentiary Service Taalaibek Nuraliev told at a press conference.

According to him, a plan has been developed to create production in all colonies.

«In Soviet times, practically all prison colonies had production facilities. A brick factory was recently opened in colony 16, at least 82 people work there. We will gradually open new productions. Investors are needed for this,» he said.

As Taalaibek Nuraliev told, according to approximate calculations, 10-15 million soms are needed to open a brick factory in a prison colony.
