Heat wave: Record high air temperature registered in Kyrgyzstan on July 22

July 22, 2022 was the hottest in the history of meteorological observations in Bishkek. Data of Weather and Climate website says.

The maximum air temperature in the capital of Kyrgyzstan was +41 degrees Celsius. This is 6.3 degrees above normal.

The coldest July 22 was in 1960, when the air warmed up only to +11.2 degrees.

The hottest day in July was the 16th of 2015, when the air temperature rose to +42.1 degrees. An average monthly temperature in the republic in July is +25.5 degrees.

The record high air temperature was also registered in Kyrgyzstan on June 29 and July 21.
