Accident involving a border guard occurred in Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security reported.
According to it, the 31-year-old serviceman was suddenly attacked by a bear while being on duty in Tushtuk-Bokbashi area of Chon-Alai district, Osh region. The border guard was seriously injured by the animal.
Despite the provided first aid, the sergeant died from injuries. All relevant agencies have been notified of the accident.
The command of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security for Osh region, representatives of the Military Prosecutor’s Office and law enforcement agencies are investigating the accident at the scene.
