It was decided to allocate 500 million soms from the state budget to the presidential reserve fund. MP Dastan Bekeshev said following a meeting of the parliamentary committee on budget, economic and fiscal policy.
At the end of the work of the sixth convocation, the deputies adopted amendments to the Budget Code, increasing the reserve fund of the President of Kyrgyzstan to 2 percent of the republican budget revenues. In 2022, it is planned that it will amount to 281 billion soms. The president will be able to independently manage 2.8 billion soms.
In addition, 8.7 million soms will be allocated from the budget to pay off the debts of the State Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market on membership fees to international organizations. A little more than 47 million soms are provided for financing of the Kyrgyz National Manas Theater.
«There were other significant amounts allocated for expenses that are classified. Atr least $160 million has been borrowed from the proceeds to support the budget, $80 million of which will come this year. Other $29.1 million is given by the Green Climate Fund as a grant. This money will be used to improve degraded forests and pastures in Naryn and Osh regions. In addition, €14 million as a loan and €3 million as a grant will be spent on irrigation of Osh region,» Dastan Bekeshev said.
