Kyrgyzstan purchases equipment and weapons in order to strengthen the combat component of the military and law enforcement agencies. Kamchybek Tashiev, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, said at the handover ceremony of special equipment to the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to him, 55 armored vehicles and 50 KAMAZ trucks for border guards were bought in Russia at the expense of the country’s budget.
«We don’t ask anyone for help to buy equipment. We also buy ammunition and weapons. We will fully ensure the security and integrity of Kyrgyzstan. This is all thanks to the instructions of Sadyr Japarov. We also took Bayraktar TB2 UAV to the combat duty of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security. From now on, the unmanned aerial vehicles will additionally guard the sky and the borders of our country,» Kamchybek Tashiev said.
