Akylbek Japarov visits Taldy-Bulak Levoberezhny

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited Taldy-Bulak Levoberezhny field in Kemin district of Chui region. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

Akylbek Japarov visited the control center, where he was told about the ore mining technology. He also visited the gold processing plant and got acquainted with the state of the tailings, where production waste is stored. The official noted the need for strict observance of environmental and industrial safety, as well as labor protection at the enterprise.

He held a working meeting with the staff and management of the company — field developer. The development prospects and problems of Altynken LLC were discussed. It turned out that the local authorities of Chui region receive complaints about the recruitment of employees by intermediary staffing organizations that overestimate the cost of their services. The head of the Cabinet noted that such actions are unacceptable.

«Hiring of the staff should be transparent with the participation of representatives of local government bodies,» Akylbek Japarov said.

Altynken company is the holder of the license for the development of Taldy-Bulak Levoberezhny field. The Chinese side owns 60 percent of its share, 40 percent belongs to Kyrgyzaltyn JSC. The gold reserves at the field are estimated at 78 tons. Silver and copper are also mined there. The number of employees is 987 people, 917 of whom are citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
