Kylychbek Sarbagishev was elected a Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan (NOC). The NOC reported.
Former NOC Secretary General Salamat Ergeshov resigned in early December.
Kylychbek Sarbagishev is 43 years old. He has two higher educations — in the field of international relations and jurisprudence.
Sarbagishev is the Master of Sports of Kyrgyzstan in volleyball (1997), the best volleyball player of the Kyrgyz Republic (2009), has a Certificate of Merit from the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (2017).
He is the Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan, the Asian Volleyball Confederation (central zone) and the manager of the national volleyball teams. Sarbagishev participated in sports management trainings in the USA, Italy and Taiwan.
New NOC President Sadyr Mamytov was elected in Bishkek on December 10.
