PPE for $7,000 donated to Republican Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital

KOICA Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic provided the Republican Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital of Kyrgyzstan with sets of individual protection means. KOICA Office in the republic reports.

It is about $7,000 equivalent amount of sets of personal protections means that consists of quality protection suits, safety glasses, shoe covers, caps, nitrile gloves and FFP3 respiratory masks.

The handover ceremony took place on November 18 at the Head Office of the Republican Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital in Bishkek. The event was attended by the Country Director of KOICA Kyrgyzstan Office, Yi Jongsu, President of KOICA Alumni Association, Zhanara Imanalieva, and the Head of the Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital, Gulzhigit Aaliev.

It is noted that since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital has been in the epicenter of the battle against the virus in Kyrgyzstan.
