Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov received a delegation from the Kingdom of Bahrain headed by the President of Riyada Group, Shaikha Dheya bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Akylbek Japarov noted that the republic is interested in the further development of bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the countries have great potential for expanding bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation.
He stressed that creation of favorable conditions for foreign investors is one of the priority tasks of the Cabinet of Ministers and called on to invest in the domestic economy.
The President of Riyada Group, Shaikha Dheya bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, noted the readiness of the Bahraini side to establish and develop cooperation in such areas as pharmaceuticals, finances, and the use of blockchain technology.
She also informed that the company proposes to promote the medicines control system, which will allow to establish control over the circulation of pharmaceuticals on the territory of the republic.
Introduction of the system will ensure transparency of the turnover in the pharmaceutical market in the country and completely prevent penetration of counterfeit medicines.
The parties discussed development of cooperation in investment, trade and economic spheres, agriculture, energy, healthcare and tourism.
