Government of Kyrgyzstan asks citizens not to succumb to anti-Chinese appeals

The Government of Kyrgyzstan asks citizens not to succumb to anti-Chinese appeals. The First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov announced at a press conference.

According to him, information is spread in social networks inviting to a rally against the Chinese expansion, which will be held on January 17. «We have repeatedly voiced figures on the migration of Chinese citizens. Distributed information is unreliable. We ask citizens not to succumb to such appeals,» said Kubatbek Boronov.

The First Deputy Prime Minister also said that investigation of a rally held near the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek was conducted.

«Kyrk Choro Public Association denied their participation in the rally near the embassy. No organization can put such demands,» Kubatbek Boronov said.

On December 20, participants of the rally at the Chinese Embassy demanded from all foreigners to leave Kyrgyzstan within a month.
